The Rock of Glun
La Roche de Glun is a fishing village that has become an island!
From traditional houses made of rolled pebbles to listed monuments, history has left its mark in the heart of this traditional village on the banks of the Rhône. The Musards basin invites you to relax.
Two listed historical monuments in the heart of the village: the Tour Diane de Poitiers and the Porte Roussillon.
Other curiosities: its lime kilns outside the village centre, the Lead Tower which dominates the centre (private monument), potters' workshops.
The Bassin des Musards offers a walking trail, a children's square, fishing opportunities, and jousting tournaments.
Since the construction of the dam by the CNR on the Rhône, the Roche de Glun has been surrounded by the river and the canal; today it is a small island located in the middle of the two arms of the Rhône.
